n 2006, Todd Sweaney received the national Custom Home Pacesetter Award for Management. 2004
ABC'S EXTREME MAKEOVER: HOME EDITION
In 2004, ABC selected Sweaney Construction, led by Todd Sweaney, as lead builder for the Elcano family home rebuild on Extreme Makeover: Home Edition. Sweaney led the construction effort, coordinating local trade partners, suppliers and volunteers—an enduring example of the leadership, collaboration and accountability behind the SCH Master Builder philosophy.
HABITAT FOR HUMANITY GOLDEN EMPIRE
In 2008, Sweaney Construction undertook a Habitat for Humanity Golden Empire Blitz Build in Bakersfield after Todd was encouraged to participate by a fellow NAHB Builder 20 colleague who helped conceive and lead the national Blitz Build initiative. Todd and the SCH team led the local construction effort, coordinating trade partners and volunteers to build a new home for a Bakersfield family in just one week.

Beautiful Bakersfield Chairman's Award
n recognition of Sweaney Construction's leadership and contribution to the Elcano family project, the company received the 2005 Beautiful Bakersfield Chairman's Award from the Greater Bakersfield Chamber of Commerce.The project also received formal recognition and commendations from the California Legislature, United States Congress, California Senate, City of Bakersfield and Kern County.
