Designed for both the present and the future, this Mediterranean golf course estate in Grand Islands at Seven Oaks combines timeless architecture with thoughtful planning for long-term living.
Designed and built by Sweaney Custom Homes, the residence was intentionally planned with primary suites on both the first and second floors—allowing the homeowners to enjoy a traditional upstairs primary retreat while preserving the flexibility to transition to single-level living later in life. Rather than treating aging in place as an adaptation, accessibility and long-term livability were considered as part of the home’s original architectural design.
Mediterranean influences are expressed through warm materials, graceful arches, rich architectural detailing, and a strong connection between indoor and outdoor living. Positioned along the golf course within Grand Islands at Seven Oaks, the home takes advantage of its setting while providing comfortable spaces for everyday family life and entertaining.
The result is a custom home designed not only around how its owners wanted to live when it was built, but around how their needs could evolve over time—an example of the thoughtful planning behind SCH’s Master Builder approach.
